Build An Ark
Heb 11:7 KJV By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
About 5000 years ago, God called, “Noah!” “Here I am”, Noah answered. “Something terrible will happen very soon on earth”, God said. “Lord God, what’s it?” Noah queried. Then God replied authoritatively, “All men have corrupted themselves before Me. In fact, I am not happy that I had created them because they have polluted themselves so much that all the imaginations of their hearts are evil everyday. My Spirit has tried many years to redirect their thinking but to no avail. So, I’m sending rain and flood to the earth, and the overflow of waters will destroy all the creatures on the earth”
“Oh, my God!” Noah gasped. “But, Noah…”, God continued, “don’t be afraid. You have found favor before Me. You are the only righteous man I see in this evil generation. So, this is what you will do; Build Me an ark to save yourself and your family and the animals which I will direct to you”.
Now, imagine what would have happened if Noah had refused to build the ark. One, the Divine message would only lead him into unreasonable fear and panic, and he would, of course, have been destroyed with the rest of that generation because of disobedience.
But, all glory to God that he chose to obey. He built the ark by faith (even though he had not experienced rain before, neither was he familiar with a prior prototype of the construction of an ark), and saved himself and his family from the Divine destruction.
What ark have you been divinely instructed to build? You will not be saved from the coming destruction if you don’t obey! Start building now and your Divine confidence will be renewed!
Confession: I build the ark of God’s calling and assignment upon my life by faith. It does not matter whether I’ve seen a prototype or not. God is my Guide and my Salvation. In Him, I am safe and saved in Jesus Name, Amen.
